Join us! Be part of the “come alive come offline movement”, as we celebrate South Sound Letter Writers Society’s last gathering of the year! We'll be writing and sending Christmas Cards, Postcards, and Letters to Santa Claus, as well as celebrating the holidays with an Ugly Sweater Contest, so be sure to wear your Ugliest Christmas Sweater! Everywhere you look, faces are attached to screens. Even the dreaded "small talk" had almost disappeared. We’re all too busy and too detached, and even our kids, unable to live with boredom, live attached to tablets. As our entertainment focuses more and more around screens, we’re losing parts of our way of life. To maintain our humanity and combat these new norms, the South Sound Letter Writers Society in Olympia has united efforts to bring the community together throught the lost art of letter writing.

South Sound Letter Writers Society is a club dedicated to offering guidance and encouragement in the practice of the lost art of letter writing. Our goal is to create a place for genuine connections, offline literacy exercises  providing a fun activity with friends doing the mindful exercise of letter writing. We make our mission to  reach out to different ministries and private initiatives across the United States who seek beat isolation, adversity and fight together against the new normal of social media addiction using the Analog Power of Snail Mail, Letter Writing and Mail Art.
