Returns

If you would like to return a book purchased in our brick-and-mortar store, bring the book in (along with your receipt, if you have one, but it's not essential, so long as you can answer some questions about when you purchased it, etc). New books in new condition can be returned for two weeks after purchase. Used books can be returned for store credit for 30 days after purchase.

We have a 30-day return policy on all books purchased on our website--that means you have 30 days from the time you place the order to contact us if you need to make a return. If the return is the result of an error we have made, then we will gladly cover the cost of return shipping.  If you need to submit a return, please email us at onlineorders@orcabooks.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or call 360-352-0123. Unauthorized returns will be sent back unopened.

Used books may only be returned for store credit. All other items will be refunded in the type of tender used for the original sale.

Store credit, discounts, and coupons

Store credit obtained by selling books in our store may not be used on our website, unless you choose "Pay at Store" as your payment method.  Store credit may not be used on ebooks.

Discounts and sales are determined by where you pay for your purchase. Items paid for in our store only qualify for certain in-store discounts. Items paid for on the website are only eligible for website discounts.

Coupon codes are only good for online purchases. Actual paper coupons may only be applied to items purchased at our store.

Which means the book is better than Very Good andthe dust jacket grade is less than Very Good.]
