Orca Books Presents at the Timberland Library on February 22

 

Join the Orca Books staff at the Olympia Timberland Library (313 8th Ave SE, Olympia, WA) for a discussion with editors Ivy Anderson and Devon Angus on their book, Alice: Memoirs of a Barbary Coast Prostitute (winner of the 2015 California Historical Society Book Award). Following the discussion will be a Q&A and book signing.

Crime novelist Denise Hamilton will discuss Los Angeles Noir, writing mysteries and her latest novel Damage Control, which blends elements of celebrity culture, surf noir and the deep bonds between two girls who share a terrible secret.
